A nozzle or build plate that fits one printer from a maker often does not fit the next one. Bambu Lab sells a different hotend for the A1 series, the P1 series and the H2 line. Prusa makes separate sheets for the MK4S, the CORE One L and the XL. Elegoo sells Neptune 4 and 4 Pro kits in two cable versions. This page lines up the replacement hotend or nozzle and the replacement build plate for 32 popular Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Elegoo and Anycubic models.

It is desk research. Part names, sizes and compatibility come from each maker’s parts pages and compatibility lists, or from listings on Amazon that name the printer, all checked October 19, 2026. Nothing here comes from installing these parts, so check the maker’s page for your exact printer revision before you order. If you are choosing a nozzle for a material rather than a model, start with the filament compatibility chart by printer model .

How to use this page

  1. Find your printer under its maker’s heading.
  2. Read the part names in the middle column, which follow the maker’s own wording.
  3. Use the link in the last column. A link with a product name goes to an exact Amazon listing that was new and in stock when checked, under the maker’s brand (or E3D’s, for nozzles the maker names), from whichever seller Amazon shows. A link that starts with “Search Amazon for” means no exact listing was verified, so the search lets you compare current offers.

Two cautions apply to every maker:

  • Look-alikes are common. Amazon is full of third-party “for Bambu Lab”, “for Prusa” and “for Creality” nozzles, hotends and plates. This page links only to the maker’s own brand, to E3D for the nozzles Prusa and Bambu name as compatible, or to a search. Check the seller and the product title against the maker’s page before you pay.
  • The model name matters more than the series name. Plates in particular differ in size by model, and a few nozzle kits are sold in more than one electrical version.

Bambu Lab

Bambu Lab sells hotends as complete assemblies, with the nozzle and heatbreak together, so “replacing the nozzle” on a Bambu printer means replacing the hotend. The size and steel type are options on each store page. Bambu’s A1 and A2 hotend page describes the sizes this way: 0.2 mm for small, intricate models, 0.4 mm for everyday use, and 0.6 and 0.8 mm for faster speeds and high-performance filaments, at some cost to resolution.

Bambu Lab hotends

Search Amazon for Bambu Lab hotend for H2C left side

Notes on the Bambu hotends:

  • Bambu’s High Flow Hotend page marks the H2 series, X2D and P2S as supported and the X1 and P1 series as not supported. It also says the High Flow Hotend fits the A1 and A2 series but performs the same as a standard-flow hotend there.
  • Bambu’s Tungsten Carbide Hotend page says the H2 dual-nozzle function currently supports nozzles of the same size, that the part fits both the left and right hotends on the H2D, and that on the H2C it fits only the left (lifting) hotend.
  • The Bambu Lab hotend listing for the P1S, P1P and X1C is a 0.4 mm hardened steel part. Bambu sells the 0.6 and 0.8 mm sizes and the 0.2 mm stainless steel size separately, so use the search or Bambu’s store for those.
  • The hotend listing for the H2D, P2S and H2S does not say whether it is standard flow or high flow, so compare it with Bambu’s High Flow Hotend page if flow rate matters.

Notes on the Bambu plates:

  • Plate sizes differ. Bambu’s Engineering Plate page lists 256 x 256 mm for the X1C, P1P, P1S, A1, P2S and X2D, 350 x 320 mm for the H2D and H2S, and 330 x 320 mm for the H2C and A2L. The Textured PEI page also lists a 180 x 180 mm size, which is the A1 mini’s.
  • Bambu says glue must be applied before printing any material on the Engineering Plate, which it describes as compatible with all filament types.
  • The Cool Plate SuperTack is designed for PLA and PETG. Bambu adds that X2D and P2S owners should turn off the build plate position detection setting when using it.
  • Bambu’s Smooth PEI Plate page says that plate is no longer available for the X1, P1, A1, P2S, X2D and H2 series and recommends the Engineering Plate instead. It is still listed for the A1 mini.
  • For a deeper comparison of surfaces, see the textured PEI plate guide for Bambu Lab , the hotend upgrade guide and the Bambu Lab spare-part guide .

Prusa

Prusa’s Nextruder printers share one nozzle family. Each Prusa nozzle page lists the same compatible printers: MK4 and MK4S, CORE One and CORE One+, CORE One L and L+, and XL and XL+. Prusa’s own nozzles are the Brass CHT and the hardened ObXidian. The “E3D Prusa” nozzles are made by E3D and sold on Prusa’s store as genuine E3D Prusa nozzles.

Prusa print sheets

Notes on the Prusa sheets:

  • Prusa describes the Satin sheet as sitting between smooth and textured, with optimal adhesion especially for PLA and PETG, and as compatible with ABS, ASA, flexible filament and polycarbonate.
  • Prusa describes the Smooth PEI sheet as the best solution for printing PLA, with great adhesion with almost all materials and a smooth underside on prints.
  • The PA Nylon sheet is, in Prusa’s words, “suitable only for polyamide-based materials and PETG,” so it is a specialist sheet rather than a replacement for the everyday one.
  • Prusa warns never to clean the Textured or Satin powder-coated sheets with acetone.
  • Amazon’s Original Prusa listings call the sheets “PEI” sheets, while Prusa’s own store names them Satin and Textured Powder-coated and Smooth PEI print sheets. Match on the surface name and the printer, not on the word PEI.

Creality

Creality’s Amazon storefront lists its nozzles and plates with the supported printers in the title, so the “part named on the listing” column below follows those titles. Several listings cover more than one printer, such as the K1C nozzle kit that also names the Ender 3 V3, so the same exact link can appear in more than one row.

Creality 235 x 235 mm dual-side epoxy resin build plate, listed for Ender 3 V3 KE

Notes on the Creality parts:

  • The K1C ships with a tri-metal nozzle. For carbon-fiber filament, the E3D ObXidian nozzle is the hardened option among the K1C listings.
  • The K2 Plus and K2 Pro already ship with hardened steel nozzles, so the K2 kits are about sizes and spares rather than wear resistance.
  • The Ender-3 V3, V3 SE and V3 KE ceramic heating block kits replace the heating block and nozzle together, so they are hotend upgrades rather than simple nozzle swaps.

Elegoo

Elegoo’s Centauri Series parts and Neptune 4 Series parts are sold under shared names, and the Neptune 4 and 4 Pro kits come in two versions.

  • Neptune 4 and 4 Pro kits come in Ribbon-Cable and Type-C versions. Elegoo sells its hardened steel nozzle kit, multi-size brass nozzle kit and assembled hotend kit for the Neptune 4 and 4 Pro in both versions. Match the version to the extruder cable your printer uses before you order.
  • The Centauri Carbon 2 parts need a closer look. Elegoo’s own store pages list its Centauri Series nozzle kit, high-speed hotend kit and etched plate as compatible with the Centauri Carbon 2 as well as the original Centauri Carbon. The Amazon hotend kit listings, however, say “ONLY for Centauri/Centauri Carbon,” so the Centauri Carbon 2 row links to the multi-size nozzle kit, which Elegoo’s store page lists for the Centauri Carbon 2, rather than to those hotend kits. The 3-pack plate listing names both the CC1 and CC2.

Elegoo also sells a Neptune 3-series hardened nozzle kit, but its listing says it is for the Neptune 3, 3 Pro, 3 Plus and 3 Max, not the Neptune 4, so it is deliberately not linked above.

Anycubic

Anycubic’s store sells nozzles by printer series: the Kobra S1 and Kobra 3 use full quick-release hotends, while the Kobra X, Kobra 4, Kobra 3 Max V2 and Kobra S1 Max use a separate nozzle part. Its Amazon listings for the original Kobra 3 Max do not clearly cover the Kobra 3 Max V2, so the V2 rows link to searches.

Anycubic’s store marks the Kobra 3 V2 as end of life. Its nozzle, hotend and plate parts were still listed for it when checked, but confirm before you plan around the printer.

Choosing between the options

  • Pick the size for the job. Smaller nozzles (0.2 mm) are for fine detail, 0.4 mm is the everyday size, and 0.6 and 0.8 mm print faster and handle some stronger filaments, at a cost in fine detail. Bambu’s A1 and A2 hotend page describes the sizes this way, and the nozzle upgrade guide goes further.
  • Pick the material for the filament. Brass and stainless steel are fine for plain PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and nylon. Fiber-filled filament calls for hardened steel. The filament compatibility chart shows which printers ship with one.
  • Pick the plate surface for the filament. Textured and satin surfaces leave a matte, patterned underside and hide tool marks, while smooth surfaces leave a smooth underside, and Prusa calls its smooth sheet the best solution for PLA. Specialty plates, such as Prusa’s PA Nylon sheet and Bambu’s Cool Plate SuperTack, are narrower in the materials they support. The spring steel build plate guide covers fit, coating and flex.
  • Keep one spare. Plates and nozzles wear out. Prusa’s pages call PEI sheets consumable parts whose coatings diminish over time, with the warranty covering defects only, and Bambu’s Textured PEI page calls its plate a consumable part too. A second plate on hand shortens downtime.

Frequently asked questions

Does a Bambu Lab printer take a loose nozzle?

Not on Bambu’s own store. Bambu sells complete hotends (the nozzle and heatbreak as one assembly) for the A1 and A2 series, the P1 series, the X1 Carbon and the H2, P2S and X2D line, with the nozzle size and steel type as options. Prusa, Creality, Elegoo and Anycubic sell quick-swap nozzles or hotend kits.

Which nozzle material do I need for carbon-fiber filament?

Hardened steel (or another hardened material). Bambu’s hotend pages call hardened steel the requirement for carbon- and glass-fiber filaments, and Prusa, Elegoo, Creality and Anycubic all sell hardened options. The filament compatibility chart shows which printers ship with one.

Will a build plate for one model fit another model from the same maker?

Often not. Bambu sells plates in 180 x 180 mm, 256 x 256 mm, 330 x 320 mm and 350 x 320 mm sizes, Prusa makes separate sheets for the MK4S and CORE One, the CORE One L and the XL, and Anycubic and Elegoo list plates by model series. Match the plate to your exact printer.

Why do some rows only have a search link?

A row gets an exact Amazon link only when a new, in-stock listing from the maker (or from E3D, for the Prusa and Bambu nozzles those makers name) matched the exact part and printer. When none did, the row links to an Amazon search for that part so you can compare current offers.

What replaced Bambu’s Smooth PEI plate?

Bambu’s store says the Smooth PEI Plate for the X1, P1, A1, P2S, X2D and H2 series is no longer available and names the Engineering Plate as the recommended replacement. The Smooth PEI Plate is still listed for the A1 mini.
